FTS–P200 BROADBAND INTERNET TELEPHONE
Congratulation on becoming an owner of the FTS–P200 Broadband Internet Telephone! You
made an excellent choice and we hope you will enjoy all its capabilities. FreeTEL System FTS–P200
Broadband Internet Telephone is an innovative IP telephone,
which offers a rich set of functionality and superb sound quality at an
ultra-affordable price. FTS–P200 Broadband Internet Telephone is a state-of-the-art IP
desktop telephone incorporating a built-in dialup 56Kmodem; it can be used
with or without high-speed broadband internet connection.
FTS–P200 is fully compatible with the SIP industry standard and automatically
interoperates with FreeTEL Networks VoIP Service Provider. Anywhere, Anytime,

1. Make a Phone Call
There are three ways to make phone calls:
Pick up the handset and dial the phone number followed by the # button.
Pick up the handset and press the REDIAL button directly to redial the last
number called.
Browse the call logs history by pressing the CALL LOG button and navigate the
call logs with the VOL (+) and VOL (–) buttons, and press the ENTER button to
select the desired items. Once you have a desired phone number displayed on
the LCD, pick up the handset and press the # button to dial the selected
number.
2. Answer an Incoming Call
When a call is received, the FTS–P200 Broadband Telephone will alert you with
a ring tone. At that point, simply pick up the handset to answer the call
and begin talking with the caller. When the call has ended, hang up the
handset.
3. Put a Call on Hold
While in conversation, pressing the HOLD button will put the remote end on
hold. Pressing the HOLD button again will release the previously hold state
and resume the conversation.
4. Call Waiting
While in conversation, you will hear a special tone if there is another
incoming call. You can press the HOLD button to put the current call on hold
and switch to the new incoming call. Pressing HOLD button toggles between two
active calls.
5. Transfer a Call and Call Flashing
You can transfer an active call to a third party. By pressing the HOLD
button, you will place the current active call on hold, and then dial the
third party's phone number. If the call is answered by the third party, press
FLASH button to complete the transfer operation and hang up. If the call is
not answered by the third party, press FLASH button to resume the original
call.
Note: When the transfer is failed and you hang up, the FTS–P200 Broadband
Telephone will ring you back again to remind you that your original call is
still active. You can pick up the phone to resume the conversation with the
original call.
6. Adjust your Phone Volume
While in conversation, you can press on the VOL (+) or VOL (–) button to
increase or decrease your phone volume.
7. CALL LOG Button
This button is used to browse missed, dialed or answered call records.
8. FLASH Button
This button is used to transfer an active call to a third party.
9. HOLD Button
This button is used to place a call on hold and/or answer a new incoming call
if there is an incoming waiting call. It can also be used with the FLASH
button to transfer an active call to a third party.
10. REDIAL Button
Press this button to redial the last dialed telephone number automatically.
11. FTS–P200 Broadband Internet Telephone – Analog Dialup Mode
The FTS–P200 Broadband Telephone has an integrated RJ-11 PSTN port allowing you
to dial out to your Internet Service Provider through a 56K build-in modem.
This type of connection is very convenient for users who don't have
high-speed broadband internet connection. Please refer to the FTS–P200 Internet Telephone User Guide – Analog Dialup Mode to get further instructions
